The new year is an opportunity to shed what is not working for you and make space for new things, that will work for you. Tonight, first light some candles. Then list whatever bad habits, jobs or relationships are holding you back, onto a piece of paper and then burn it. Now focus on what you want to bring into your life by writing those down onto a new piece of paper. Be as colourful and vivid as you can. Go to town on your dreams and really visualise these – don’t let anything hold you back – be as creative and bold as you can be.
Ideally, then close your little new year’s ceremony by putting on your favourite music and dance! Getting the energy going around what you want to bring into your life may sound silly, but these are all powerful, if not slightly shamanic ways of manifesting the life you want for yourself.
Good luck! You can then look back in December and be pleasantly surprised by what you have achieved and question those things you have not, gently asking yourself why and beginning the process for the new year all over again.
