Developing Resilience: The Alps (4 nights, women-only)

With Sally-Anne Airee

This women-only retreat looks deeply into the nature of resilience in a complex world. It explores ways of tapping into your deep wise self and of sustaining equanimity in the midst of disruptions, so that you can think more clearly and act more decisively when the going gets tough.

The 4-day retreat is for female professionals who want to transform the way they lead and manage people.

Benefits for you and your organisation
  • Be at ease with relentless pressure
  • Forge productive working relationships and build mutual trust
  • Make wise choices and decisions in difficult situations
  • Act skilfully to bring about meaningful change
  • Experience more energy, joy and compassion in your personal and professional life

Your retreat is guided by Sally-Anne Airey and Jan Brause, both highly experienced leaders, executive coaches and mindfulness practitioners. As one of a group of no more than eight women (you may book as an individual for the set dates, or as a team) you will experience a full 4-day programme of mindful living, healthy eating, group activities, workshops and coaching – both in our luxury chalet retreat centre and outside in the inspiring landscape of the French Alps.

You’ll also have the time to relax, reflect and process your learning. And you’ll take away tools and techniques that will enable you to sustain long-term high performance and resilience.

You’ll live in comfort and style at top-rated chalet Maison la Cerisaie – in the beautiful French mountain village of Sixt Fer à Cheval, close to Geneva and under 3 hours travel time from London, Bristol or Manchester airports.

Presenter Sally-Anne Airee

Sally-Anne was once a Commander in the Royal Navy. She worked hard and skilfully to reach this rank at a time when opportunity between men and women was unequal and bias was the norm. She left the Navy in 2004 and moved with her husband Simon and their children to Eastern Europe, where they lived and worked in Ukraine and in Russia for eight years. As a governor and then business manager of an international school in Kyiv, during a period of rapid expansion, Sally-Anne realised she had a passion and talent for coaching. She began doing this full time and obtained an Advanced Diploma in Coaching with The OCM in Oxford. At around the same time, Sally-Anne discovered the teaching of Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh and began practising mindfulness. She found that the practice gave her more time to think, to be creative, and to be at peace with herself and the world. She also noticed how she was better able to find space in the moment to choose her reactions, rather than respond from habit. This experience led Sally-Anne to develop a deep impact coaching approach she calls mindful executive coaching. Embodying her unique blend of executive coaching, mindfulness practice and leadership experience, she supports business leaders, entrepreneurs, founders, executives and teams to live they life they want.
